Another amazing thing that happened the night of RBNYC's accident

I was just talking to Rene and again she thanks everyone on DU for all their positive thoughts and she says she just got a bunch of cards. She believes all the positive energy is helping with her healing, which the doctors say is a week ahead of schedule. She's really making amazing progress.

Another amazing anecdote she shared with me. There was a man who just happened to be on the scene when they were getting her out of the car - and while he was there he suffered a heart attack. There were seven ambulances at the scene, and because of that he was able to get immediate care. So he probably survived his heart attack because he happened to be at the right place at the right time, depending on how you look at it.

Also - Rene believes because she was pregnant at the time of the accident, her body was filled with so many good growth hormones and she was in great shape, that too contribted to her survival and her recovery.

She'll be back in her own home in about 4 weeks and looks very forward to her first post back on DU.

I even managed to throw in a picture of Sarge and I in Cape Cod National Park in ProvinceTown, Ma. with the card I sent her.

Sometimes good things arise from seemingly bad things. :-)

When things get too gloomy, I'm going to remember that wonderful story. Sometimes magic just happens, we can't know exactly why . . .
