soup and coffee

The burning question (considering the forest fires up here) is whether soup and coffee truly mix (with a nod to the latest music threads (which reminds me, I must get this leather jacket dry cleaned after taking it off during the last outing at amateur strip - ewwww (the cat barfed this morning again (but then again I know how it feels - I shouldn't be mixing (with a nod to the latest music threads) (which reminds me, I'm out of protein shake mix)) vodka and beer (especially 'cause it's not my brand (Ahkntanen just bought us some brand new lamps (I must get back to work on my document on what all the LED lamps mean on my organ (which still has blisters)))))) 'cause I'm eating/drinking both at the moment and there's oil slicks on the top of my coffee and the soup has turned a rather nasty colour (what WAS that cat eating?) or maybe that had something to do with the chicken I had for breakfast (normally, pop-tarts (generic) but lately salted crackers (no, not safes (which reminds me, I'm out of rubbers (no, the rain stopped))) and how I managed to get three spoons and a fork dirty in the process (ps -ef | grep smb).

But no, coffee and soup really don't go well together. I love coffee - my favorite beverage - but there are just some foods it don't go with, and soup is one of them. Also popcorn, cheese, and pizza.
