Help me refine my shrub flash caricature
I was getting sick of studying real pics of his ugly mug, so I whipped up this character. Please critique it and let me know what pops out at you as incorrect in the charicterization. BTW, the eyes and mouth are meant to be cold, dark and vacant.



For those interested, I'm in the process of creating a series of Flash toons entitled, "Youthful Indiscretions" that chronicles shrub's misguided youth (ages 0 to 41) and the effect on his adult life.

5. The spittle, drool, pock marks
pretzel injuries, gigantic boils, rosacea and gin blossoms will all be used in the series. Not to worry.

3. Broken blood vessels...
A few red-brownish spots across nose and upper cheeks. It's from his years of alcohol abuse.

Not too many, since it is caricature.

6. Try...
taking away the cute pudgy cheeks. Maybe make those brow lines more V-shaped. The hair is too soft ... again too cuddly.
