What to do, what to do?

Up until fifteen minutes ago I felt really comfortable as a flaming liberal and a member of DU.

Then, I received my mail. Among the bills was a personal letter from President G.W. Bush thanking me for my "dedication as a Charter Member of the campaign in Minnesota." More than that, there's an autographed photograph of George and Laura. I don't think any president has actually sent me an autographed picture before except for the Habitat stuff from Jimmy Carter.

My (now) good friend George is asking me to support his "optimistic agenda for America."

My loyalties are really being tested. Oh! What to do, what to do?

Wait a minute! I could donate a few bucks to DU in his name and send them a nice card to acknowledge the donation. Hey! this could be a new fundraising device for DU. Donate in George's name and have a donation card sent to:

It might make them update their mailing list!

There was a thread last week from some folks in here who also got such a mailing...I wonder what's up with that? smells fishy to me...

I think we should all donate to our favorite liberal causes, designating the donations as gifts to our friends at Bush-Cheney '04, Inc. (By the way, I like the using the "Inc." at the end. See, it's like a bidness only better!)
