Poll question: Men's fragrances
I'm considering a new cologne and would like some feedback on what's out there (without getting half a dozen fragrances sprayed in me that I then can't distinguish from one another).

Which do you ladies (and guys) prefer (or write in your own):

Thanks!

1. Perry Ellis America.
My favorite fragrance.

I still like Polo for Men, though.

2. What kind of REAL man worries about garbage like that.
Get some Old Spice and splash it on. Save yourself a whole lot of money.

Of course, if there was a fragrance out there that smelled like brand new hundred dollar bills that might work as well.

People might not know what it was but I'll bet you could get a job with the Bush administration, or even tapped for Skull & Bones.

34. alright then........

"What's a man now-what's a man mean

Is he rough or is he rugged

Is he cultural and clean

Now it's all change-it's got to change more

Cause we think it's getting better

But nobody's really sure

And so it goes- go round again

But now and then we wonder who the real men are"

(Although, considering my current employment status, I probably should just stick with Brut in the economy-sized five-gallon can...)

plus, each bottle will last longer if you have more of them. That's what I've always done.:)

10. Depends on where/when it's to be worn
For the past couple years I've been wearing:

Chanel Pour Homme for business-

" " Egoiste Platinum for Dressy/Formal, business dress- slightly sweet/citrusy

Chrome for casual/business casual- very clean scent

Z-14 occasionally for weekends- slightly peppery, pheremone-y scent (something about the smell of this and Red that I've always loved!)

Stinkwater for dudes?

Chemicals make me sick enough as it is. Do I really have to wear them to get me a chick?

Why can't I just stick my thumbs in my pockets and describe her skirt in an extremely lewd manner?

22. I am a big fan of Emporio/Armani
It's the one that has a male and female version. The male in the gray metal cylinder with a little bulge, and the female in the white cylinder with a little dent. I think that the male is called Emporio, and the female is Armani.

24. Muchacho, Halston z-14 made me WEAK in the knees on the right man...
I remember to this day THAT man and that cologne on him, and how when I met him, he kissed me on the cheek and I had to lean back against the wall.... all weak in the knees.

We had a torrid love affair that carried on across the entire United States for a number of years. He became a very famous drummer for a very famous rock n roller... but sadly met his maker 2 years ago.

Loved that man.... and that cologne still makes me weak on the right fella.

26. My husband wears Nobile by Gucci
I got it for him because I liked the scent (and he seems to like it), but I prefer au natural. If cologne must be used, it should be very minimal. Nothing worse than kissing somewhere on a man and ended up with the flavor of rubbing alcohol. They are much tastier naturally. :D

30. Is Lagerfeld passe now?
I've alway thought that that was THE ideal scent on a man provided he didn't put on too much. Wearing too much alters the smell altogether, otherwise it's heavenly. In a masculine way, that is.:)

42. St. John's Bay Rum -- in the cane-wrapped bottle...
This stuff is a classic, and it smells good enough to drink!

Has a clean, clove-like scent that's not overpowering, and that fades with time.

The ladies love this stuff, too.
