Question about the music group October Project...
... I have their 1993 debut album (my collection is half complete...) and I must say this was a talented and unique band.

1. I have been listening to the tracks "Bury My Lovely," "Where You Are," and "Always," and the first two tracks have a straight 3/4 feel while the latter has a flowing 5/4 feel. Are there any other bands out there that use odd-meters in there music that aren't to progressive or fusiony?

2. What the hell ever happened to these guys?

1. I loved those guys, have no idea where they went
that first album is fantastic!! Good autumn album...reflective yet driven

Steely Dan uses odd-meters all the time.

2. Great record
I covered them in my column years ago, interviewed one of the band memebers, can't recall name.

Long and short - they couldn't get their single onto the radio, a couple of members had other projects ongoing. Fizzle.
