Holy Christ, it's Mel Gibson!

"I can tell you that the controversy surrounding the movie, with detractors claiming that it repeats ancient anti-Semitic slander, is entirely justified. That's not to say it shouldn't be seen. I mean, Hollywood released Tears Of The Sun, for heaven's sake, not to mention Don't Say A Word. But I should probably warn you about, for lack of a better term, the movie's "Jewish problem." Here are some of the nastier bits. Hold on to your kipa.

--The character of Pontius Pilate has been renamed "Jewy Jew Jew Jew." He has the last line of the movie, which, translated from Aramaic, goes, "Boy, am I glad that the Jews killed Jesus! Now we can go ahead and eat Christian babies in peace!"

--While dying on the cross, Jesus hallucinates a world where all people live in peace and harmony, because there are no more Jews. He croaks, "The Jews did this to me, not the Romans. If anyone still remembers anything about my story in the 21st Century, that's the one thing that needs to stick."

--Mary Magadlene, fully reformed, blows up an abortion clinic.

--At the last supper, Jesus leans into the table. The disciples lean in to hear him. "I've got a tip from God," he says. "Judaism is on the way out. ..."
