I know this thread will start a real flame war - Favorite type of Lighter
What's your favorite type of lighter??????

I don't smoke but I like those long stem lighters you can get to start propane stoves. I use mine to light my candles and I don't have to reach in with my hand to light them.

What's YOUR favorite type of lighter???

utterly reliable.

they come with all kinds of logos and such on them now, but the REAL one is the plain burnished metal lighter, unchanged since they handed them out in WWII.

plus, we smokers may not make great environmentalists, but when you use a Zippo you're not tossing those stupid throw-away lighters into landfills all the time.

in accordance with the Boy Scout Motto ("Be Prepared"), every household should have one of these.

I carry one sometimes, although I don't smoke. I just think they're pretty damned cool. :D
