The FBI may launch an inquiry into whether the White House revealed the identity of a covert CIA official to punish her husband for blowing the whistle on President Bush for making misleading claims about the Iraqi nuclear programme, officials in Washington said yesterday.
More...Assuming this is accurate, and somebody in the White House leaked this info to punish Joseph Wilson, it is treason.
I would LOVE to see this administration end in shame and disgrace as one or more senior members spend the rest of their days behind bars.
Yeah, Clinton got a BJ and lied about it to Congress. They spent $60 million (?) to force him to admit that. All that investigation, and not one criminal conviction for anybody in his administration.
The Bushies have been lying and conspiring since before they grabbed power. Compared to the major multiple felonies of them, Clinton's escapades hardly rate as a minor misdemeanor.
Yet, I guarantee, not ONE member of the current Bush regime will face indictment for any misdeeds. The scandals may eventually lead to their political defeat in 2004, but even in the face of evidence of treason, I doubt any of the Bushies have much fear of criminal prosecution.
