Why oh WHY do I have to be so nice?
I was hungry, so instead of hittin' subway I went to a place called "Billy's family restaurant" in town. I figured, hey must be hard for an independently owned place to make a go in a depressed town like this. So I went......overcooked corn, terrible lasangia, let's not even START on the garlic bread, and I'm pretty sure my SEVEN dollar ceasar salad was kraft dressing. $20 bucks later....I left that disgusting place...and WHO the HELL serves CORN with Lasangia anyway? Not to mention I asked, "do you sell little side orders of salad?" Which to me means about a $3 salad..not a seven dollar rainforest.

grrr.....$20 wasted. I have little money as I'm waiting for paycheques. Had I went to subway, I'd have spent about seven bucks.

If ever you are in BC and see "Billy's family restaurant" KEEP DRIVING!

6. DUDE!
You can support local BC business at White Spot and Smitty's; and at least you'll know what to expect.

Smitty's has great pancakes.

8. Do you know what "Triple O's" means?
They always talk about "White Spot Triple O's", but nobody seems to know what they are.

9. FUNNY! There's this place in Leesburg, VA...
called Johnson's Charcoal Beefhouse. Its walls are coated with a 20-year-old yellow slime from cigarette smoke and its food is as bad as what you mentioned.

The local conservatives hang out there after church and talk politics while their colons and lungs rot. There's a bright side to everything!
