Mild late night jokes about Bush - but at least Leno's "Clinton" era ends
Jay Leno: "In his latest campaign commercial, President Bush talks about 'times of change.' If he thinks these are times of change wait 'til November."

"As you know, John Kerry had a purple heart from Vietnam. Big Deal. Dick Cheney has a purple heart from deep dish pizza."

"Yesterday, the Bush administration announced a new plan to crackdown on the finances of terrorists. I think this could work - if Bush is half as successful hurting the finances of terrorists as he's been at hurting the finances of Americans I would not wanna be in their shoes"'

1. I would just like to hear Republicans like Leno just say, "I'm sorry"
to the rest of us. Some of them just won't stop with the pointless Clinton jabs that got us where we are today. Can you believe that yesterday a Republican tried to say that it wasn't fair that Martha Stewart was convicted when President Clinton lied to the entire nation? I told her that no one lost a job or money over Clinton's lie, but the kind of things that Martha Stewart did is pervasive in those elite social circles and it's got to stop because it's wrecking havoc with the economy and hurting the rest of us economically.

2. I would like to see a Dem guest come on after a monologue like that..
and ask him what the hell he ever saw in Bush in the first place. I'm getting so tired and offended by people who complain about Liberals, Clinton and the Democrats. I turned off Leno long ago and I'm not going to watch him again.

Locally there is a deli that I used to frequent for lunch at least once a week. The owner is a big time neo-con and is always bitching about liberals. I'm cutting him off too.

3. Bush and GOP do not lie - they only "mis-speak" or are given bad info
by staff.

There are rules in the world of the US media.
