I saw that frog on the news the other day. THe mutations are getting pretty bad. They're not just sprouting extra legs anymore. Now there are siamese triplet frogs. I wonder if this could have anything to do with Bush's relaxing of pollution laws for corporations.

As has been explained in the LBN thread, it is probably two males trying to mount one female to mate. There are no actual photos that show it as an actual single unit.

There is a slim possibility that the three frogs are conjoined triplets.

Since the frogs escaped the nursery without being captured, it's impossible to tell if they were conjoined or mating. The photos are all of extremely poor quality, so they are no help.

In any case mutations do not cause mating or conjoined triplets.

It is actually unknown if the frogS have a fused head and/or body, as it was never captured, and then it hopped away.

It is probably three frogs in amplexus (ie mating), with two males trying to mount the unlucky female on the bottom.

A slim possibility is that they are conjoined triplets.

All the photos are of poor quality and definately don't show that the bodies are actually attached to each other.

How could three grafted-together tadpoles have survived so well? Those three frogs (no, it's not a three-headed frog) look fairly fat and healthy, aside from, you know, being stuck together.
