I say we need to send John Ashcroft a card

I've been thinking about this for the last couple of days, and we know that the Crisco Kid is ailing right now, and needs some compassion from the left, just to show that we really, really care about him. So this is what I suggest:

We at DU should find one of those two foot huge greeting cards, with the biggest picture of a calico kitty on the front that we can find, and send it off to Mr. AG in the next couple of days. I think cats are SO appealing, and they know how to strike a pose so well, and the AG will find it most welcomed. Of course, I do suggest someone redden the eyes of our little kitty a speck, and put the stubs of horns coming out of his purty little head just barely showing, and the AG will really enjoy it far more.

I too find it messed up that ashcroft believes "being douched with vegetable shortening will in some way better his life"

At least his friend (?) could have brought over some good olive oil instead of Crisco.
