You don't want a red - but standard whites are like water with a highly spiced BBQ.

not a chance, it's seductively close, like it should work, but the sweetness and spiciness of the gewurts will sour the coconut milk. taste like aluminium foil.

Night Train Express, Cisco and Mogen David 20/20 would also be acceptable if they don't have Thunderbird at the store.

but I would suspect that the strong tannins in a young Barolo, combined with the darker berries would clash so horribly with the Pate as to make the point moot.
