What is the point of Twitter?
It's like Facebook without people's names and just status updates, right?

Why wouldn't I use just Facebook?

2. Twitter is simple.
It is so twits with no life can post up to 140 characters like "I just took a dump" and other people who also don't have a life can respond.

I think that was about 139 characters so that could have been a "twit".

4. It's a fun waste of time.
I'm gonna have to start shanking people soon, way too much whining about such an innocuous fucking website.

6. I don't have any problem with it. I just want to know what the added value is.
If I'm following the same people on Twitter as I'm friends with on Facebook; what's the point?

8. Are you ghostsofgiants on twitter?
Maybe I'll follow you on there. Could be fun entertainment.

I think I'll take that route. I have too much family on Facebook. I find myself having to censor myself pretty frequently.

Also, if you like musician jokes, follow a gentleman named Mick_Shrimpton (just like the Spinal Tap drummer). He cracks me up.

25. I don't think it has a point..
Hi,
I skipped the whole myface and facespace thing but do use twitter. It is dumb but kind of fun. Lance Armstrong is fun to follow just because of the life he leads. Rob Corddry posts what I think are pretty twisted things, and I also follow Jim Gaffigan along with family members. To each his/her own. I never got the point of the others, and don't really get the point of this, but just find it fun and goofy.

Peace
