My doggie Muffin has a big honkin' tumor on her belly. Vibes please!
She's having surgery next week, and the vet says she ought to be OK. But this thing is freakin' HUGE, on/around/under one of her nipples. She's getting kinda long in the tooth, too, but we've got to do everything we can for her. She's my Sugar Doggie!!

1. I hear ya! I hope she will be ok!!
My Lolly can't even have surgery. She has an enlarged heart and she can't go under. Ever. She had to get a weird growth removed (it had hair and some other weird shit in it) and they could only do so much because she quit breathing. I was freaking.
She is my sugar booger! :P

3. Our dog gets them, too - some sort of growth under the skin,
not a cancer, but a benign tumor, does not seem painful. He has a few now that will stay in place - he's getting old, and we don't want him to have any more surgeries unless its life and death.

Best withse for you and your dog - speedy recovery.

6. I tell my doggie Sally she's such a lumpy girl
She had one on her chest checked by the vet and he said it's just a fatty tumor (benign). It has stayed the same size for over a year.
I hope Muffin has successful surgery and a speedy recovery!
Make sure not to let her drink too much water at once when she comes home. My old poodle did that after getting spayed and her stomach flipped so that it was closed off at both ends and gases were building up in it. She began to swell, looking like a pregnant sheep. We took her right back to the vet and they did emergency surgery to 'unwind' her stomach.

12. Is it affecting her mobility?
If not then you should think hard about putting her through surgery.
