If caring were cash,I would put bigots and right wingers in the 10 cent range.
The more I love them the more they are worth.
I have a few priceless friends. :)

22. Worth, depends who you ask...
ask a lender and your worth is your assets...

Ask a philosopher and you might get different answers based on their stance...

ask someone with spiritual beliefs and they would tell you (hopefully) that no one is worth anymore than anyone else and the value of life cannot be measured.

Given all that, life worth is all dependent on who one asks and what they believe or don't believe about human life.

Ask the earth, she might say we are a virus she is trying to get rid of

31. I think it is in inherent in our nature to value our own self- worth.
Upon losing that, destruction will soon follow. Whether one destroys one's self or others is the expression of that futility.

29. I think this question is a common one to ponder.
I think there can be people in someones life that are worth more to them, but at the same time someone can realize all life is sacred and of equal worth in the grand scheme of existence. Knowing both these things means you can have two different answers to the question simultaneously.

As you feel someone closer to you is worth so much more, you also realize all are of equal worth.

When I think on the tendency to look at some others with less worth, I try to remember I don't get to make that decision, and its a bit presumptuous to try. Heh, and its possible they are worth more then I can imagine.

and you have to choose between two recipients , A Biologist who is on the verge on discovering a cure for cancer , and a baby .
tough decision , too cartoonish to occur in real life.

think of it as a thought experiment. I would not know how to decide who lives or dies , if one is worth more than the other.

One solution is to do a lottery. And if the biologist dies so be it.
