and maybe i'm alone on this, but i think all tattoos that involve color look like shit
it looks like having the airbrush guy at the mall paint your body

text or simple line art i can handle, but not much more

7. I have both color and blackwork,
and think it varies by the piece as to what's artistically successful and what isn't.

My necklace would be horrible in color... the one's on my arms wouldn't work in just plain black/gray.

20. I just think there should be laws that say you need to be totally sober before....
having any tattoo work done on your face. It's not that I have an issue with it but that's a lifetime commitment you can hide with a long-sleeve shirt or tossing out all your low-rider jeans. Can they even remove those tattoos without doing permament scarring to the face?

Of course the skinhead guy probably had those home-grown, meaning some guy within his group probably did it for him. I think if I was a tattoo artist and someone wanted a Swatika or Skinheads tattooed on his face I'd goof on him and put the word "LOSER" across his forehead instead. (probably why I'm not a tattoo artist).

21. I think there are laws like that, at least in some places.
I do know that no reputable tattoo artist will work on someone who's drunk. Not just for the obvious impaired-judgement factor, but also because alcohol in the blood thins it and you bleed more.

Of course, there's no shortage of disreputable ones. One of these days I'm expecting to see some dude with fugly tats on his face that are backwards because he did it himself in the mirror. Like Ashley Todd and her backwards B.

A father & son. Both are in prison (surprise!), I forget why, but it had to be something real stupid.

On the back of Dad's head it says "Got-R-Did", and the son's eyelids are tattooed. "Fuck" on one, and "You" on the other. I wonder if he got it right or if it's backwards.
