What are the other rules of losing an internet battle? Besides calling somebody HITLER?

This wingnut sent me an e-mail refuting my points and cited Bible passages as "proof"-justifications-"reasons".

So I'm going to answer him saying, You lose an argument in (X-number of) ways: 1- By calling somebody HITLER, 2- by quoting the Bible, ....

Any others?

Dig up some fun passages from Leviticus that are completely unrelated to the argument and fling those at him as "proof". When he protests that they aren't relevant, just reply "Hey, they were from the Bible, they are just as much proof of my point as your passages were for your point."

6. Straw man is when somebody, say, NIXON, raises an easy-to-defeat issue or argument that the opponent

never brought up. It makes the NIXON look like he's being forceful, logically superior, WINNING, unless the straw man is too obvious.
