Where should I go to lunch?
It's nice out for the first time in weeks. Where should I go to lunch?

Chipotle is not an option because I desire food that isn't disgusting. Fuck Chipotle.

it's awesome for people-watching and the food is good...well, the food is good for an Irish place.

5. What do the roach coaches in DC offer?
I miss working in center city Philadelphia, where there were cheesesteak coaches and amazing Greek coaches.

7. You know, living in DC for more than 6 years...
I never saw a single lunch-truck or other form of portable food vendor. I guess we don't do that.

9. There are some.
They are generally in the tourist areas on the Mall though. The business district is waaaay too snobby for that....

11. Ah - there you have it
In Philly, it's the reverse - hard to find a coach near Independence Mall, but they're EVERYWHERE in the business district. It's cute to see the securities brokers, bankers, and other white-collar guys in line behind the construction guys waiting for their cheesesteaks and hot dogs.

Philadelphians are very democratic when it comes to lunch.

10. I live in Manassas, Virginia
It's pretty much anytown, usa. Tons of chains. No real culture. Shitty drivers. Bad weather.

16. I've been to two or three buffets in the year + I've lived here
Wok n Roll scares the shit out of me. And I'm inclined to believe it's probably a carbon copy of the other buffets I've been to since they were all nearly identical. The one's I have gone to have had me wondering how many missing pet posters are located in their vicinity.

Man, this place depresses me even when it's nice out.

Unless you literally want me to eat grass. Which isn't very nice. I don't order you to act like a narwhal (!!!1).

19. I prefer unicorns
:P

Should have used a smiley, anyway, but I do like the vegetarian food at Chipotle's. If you're speaking of the meat options, well, perhaps it's richly deserved but I wouldn't know ;)

As for eating grass, well, it is spring, so the grass is green and healthy eating, at least for those animals that can digest it

Here, have a land-narwhal

Keep the windows down, take the back roads (if there are any left).

22. It would take a little long to get there from here
I might try that place some other time. It looks interesting. I typically like to feel like I'm taking my life into my own hands if I'm eating Mexican and The Tortilla Factory pics online aren't really doing it for me.

23. Oh, that's the best - they even make their own tortillas.
It has been around a LONG time and is very vegetarian friendly. Good prices for large quantities too! And I doubt you'll find better salsa anywhere. They make their own.

I suppose they need a new photographer.

28. There's a BBQ place just northeast of Stanton Park on Cap Hill.
You see gangsta-types lined up with cops lined up with folks in biz suits.

So, you know it's good.

I used to go there to get rice and beans of various kinds.
