2. Did you bring any inside?
I love the way the scent fills the room.

You are so lucky. But I have roses year round so I guess I better not complain too loudly.

5. One of my three favorite flowers -- the others being roses and lilies of the valley.
I had a couple of bushes at my house. Maybe the grocery store will have some tomorrow.

16. well, they aren't intertwined - I should take a pic of the wisteria though
I was thinking it would be cool to have a rose next to the wisteria - but I'm not sure it would get full sun. There are some pretty white tulips with purple tips that look really pretty next to the wisteria, though.

9. Lilacs compete with roses for my favorite flower.
I'm so pleased to discover as shrubs are leafing out, that the previous owner was not satisfied with the two ancient bushes by the front porch and decided to eight or ten more which will eventually form a hedge along the road side of my property. Everything is budding beautifully!

13. My friend around the corner has a big healthy lilac bush
It blooms in March, before any others in the neighborhood. The street light above it seems to be the only explanation. When I walk by I stick my face into the big, fragrant clusters and S...n...i...f...f... mmmm!

14. does anything feel better on your face than flower petals?
I love that. Slightly damp, slightly cool, fragrant flower petals always feel like mother nature is patting your cheek, to me. Especially lilacs!
