I worked on the requirements database for the Hubble for over two years in the early 80's. It is amazing the damn thing even works, but I'm proud to have been a part of it. This mission is like doing open heart surgery while wearing leather garden gloves and a welder's mask. I wish them the best.

I've been fascinated by it ever since my high school astronomy class back in 1987. I hope they succeed in fixing it.
