Oh yeah, we need the measly ducketts I make.. She is having 4 pins an two plates (stainless steel)
installed to rebuild her ankle. She should be out of surgery by 12:00 noon and ready to come home by 2:00.

2. I wish her the best, and a speedy and full recovery.

I had to have my right ankle screwed and plated back together after the first football game of the season my Sophomore year in HS, so far not a single problem with it. I even got to keep some of the pins and plates when they had to go back in and take some of them out.

4. It's now 12:08 and she is still in the operating room
I'm starting to get nervous. I haven't been to the office all week, so I needed to come in, I don't feel too good about my decision right now.

6. lots of love over the miles headed Ally's way
Give her a big hug from one who's been there - well, not nearly that bad, but ankle surgery anyway. My best wishes for pain drugs that work.

9. I hope she is recovering nicely
by now.

Looks like you got a lot of "waiting on" to do...

Sending you both good vibes. I've had knee surgery for a shattered knee and that was no fun.

11. She is home. The operation went well.
The ortho said that her bones are soft, so we will have to address that soon. Ally had a bone density test not too long ago and it was good. Now she is bummed out that she may have osteoporosis to deal with. I'm just glad she is home and resting well.
Thanks for the good thought to all.
