My lack of sleep is catching up with me.

How are you?

The viewing for my Dad is tomorrow afternoon. He's being buried in his dress blues, and his wife has called me several times with questions about details of the uniform.

I had to skip Mid-Term exams at school this week. God, I'm so far behind...

You can catch up. I know you can. It's not quite the same, but I was in the middle of training at Continental when my youngest sister had a serious accident. When I asked them if it was ok to skip a day (for her surgery) they said "It's up to you." They wouldn't promise I could go back & catch up. Training was pretty intense back then. I decided family comes first. And, later, I did catch up... and learning new things isn't easy for me. You will catch up, too. What I find strange about traumatic situations - at least for me - is how much I remember things I learn during those times. The mind is an amazing thing. All of your years in medicine have probably taught you to compartmentalize, too, I imagine.

I'm sorry if this rambling mess sounded preachy. It was my long way of telling you I know you can do it! :hug:
