SF Bay area DUers, a question re: bridge tolls
Anyone know the truck toll on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge?

I have a delivery in Brisbane Tuesday, and would like to avoid
a surprise. Any help is greatly appreciated!

:hi: y'all!

1. Basically it's $2 an axle unless you're pulling doubles.
Hope your trip goes well, and glad to have you visiting the Bay Area!:hi:

Dumbarton, Richmond-San Rafael, San Francisco-Oakland Bay, and San Mateo-Hayward bridges (tolls collected westbound only)

2 axles $4.00

3 axles $6.00

4 axles $8.25

5 axles $11.25

6 axles $12.00

7 or more axles $13.50

2. California needs to get on the EZPass network
I wish every state with toll roads would get on that network...I have an EZPass transponder and an Oklahoma PikePass transponder because we pass through Oklahoma a lot--we have a drop yard in Laredo, Texas, and transiting Oklahoma turnpikes is sometimes a necessity. If I had a transponder for all the single-state networks I don't think I could see out the windshield. Also, your freakin' transponders are expensive as FUCK, man; you can get an EZPass transponder for your car for free.

4. My current employer doesn't provide any kind of toll transponder
Only PrePass.

3. Cool!
I'll be going in westbound and leaving east. $11.50 ain't bad
considering the stratospheric NYC area tolls. Thanks!
