Can't you just wait until same sex marriages become just as unremarkable as hetero ones?
Yes, it's going to take a long time to get everyone to accept gay marriages as belonging to normality.

I just hope that it'll happen in our life times.

2. I'm waiting for the first study on marriage longevity - gay vs. straight.
It is funny to hear people like Rush who have been divorced several times ranting about "the sanctity of marriage".

As long as my family and i have the equal rights, benefits, and responsibilities of the laws of our nation, i could give a rip if people look at me like i have 3 eyes. Fuck 'em. I still know people who give those same weird looks to interracial couples; they're not my friends, but i know them.

Equal marriage rights is something that is going to happen... it's closer every day.
And it's about damned time.
