I think I got an 'A' in my speech class

I got to read the DU "mission statement" to the class:

Democratic Underground (DU) was founded on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2001, to protest the illegitimate presidency of George W. Bush and to provide a resource for the exchange and dissemination of liberal and progressive ideas

I got to inform the class about black box voting/election fraud, and in the process show this image and identify the participants:

And I got to play the class an audio clip of Bu$h saying how nice it would be if this was a dictatorship (I worked that one into our group speech on American Sign Language! :))

All in all, It's rare that I enjoy a class as much as I did this one.

6. Nope... summer session is over now...

... 5 very busy and stressful weeks was enough for me. Now I get to enjoy my 3-4 weeks of vacation before fall semester starts.

Fall should be fun, though:

Beginning Photography
Journalism 101 (intro to news writing or somesuch)
History of Documentary Film
Fundamentals of Radio/TV Broadcasting
Civil Rights and the Law

5. Congrats- I hate speaking in front of groups

For my master's disseration, the only words that kept comming out were cuss words. I was very lucky to friends with that prof.

... it's a kind of natural high for me.

That being said, I get as nervous as anybody else before doing so. I guess it's similar to sky-diving or bungee jumping...
