How Star Trek II SHOULD have ended.
Just closing a major plot hole in 'The Wrath of Khan' that fuels my irrational nerd rage.
Let me set the scene for you. Chekov and Terrell find the planet where Khan was stranded. They're investigating the Botany Bay...

CHEKOV: Botany Bay...hmm...where have I heard that before? Oh! Never. Never heard of it.

TERRELL: Well, there's obviously nobody here. Let's go.

KHAN (to Terrell): I don't know you. (To Chekov) I never forget a face. That's why I have no idea who the hell you are.

KHAN GRUNT #1: Hey, Khan, we haven't eaten real food in months. Let's eat these guys!

KHAN: Oh, very well.

KHAN GRUNT #2: Hey, maybe we should've asked where those guys were from. Maybe we could've gotten off this deathtrap.

KHAN: Oh. Right. Well, shit.

10. Thanks!
I saw it a couple of days ago and, after I stopped ROFL, I photoshopped it so it would be sigline-legal.

5. Locking.
It's the consensus of this DU household that the topic discriminates against we who've yet to see the film.

Thanks for your understanding. :P

PS, Is it really really great, worth the $12.00??

13. Are you sure we're talking about the same movie?
The OP was about Star Trek II: The Wrath of What's-His-Name.

But the new movie's quite a fun romp, too.

15. Doh. Well that shows you how much I don't know about the whole thing.
I should just stay out of this stuff.

But, a friend said she liked the new movie...

16. No worries
The new film is a lot of fun. All of the criticisms I've heard about it are mostly valid, but they don't really diminish the fun of the film. If you're going in expecting better science than any other Trek film or series, you'll be disappointed. If you go in expecting more sophisticated character development than at least nine of the other films, you'll be disappointed.

Otherwise, you'll probably have a good time!
