3. If I am ordering in, I will go with Domino's!
:o

Yes, I do like their cheese pizza! Cheese pizza is my fave! That or one loaded down with onions, mushrooms, and various other veggies! And LOTS of cheese!

I am not saying that Domino's is the best pizza, but when it comes to pizza, I am not all that picky. I even love Tontino's Pizza Rolls! :9

4. The Front Door, downtown Boise.
Best pizza I've ever had. Too bad they changed ownership, and I can no longer go there.

We're learning to make pizza at home, but Papa Murphy's garlic roasted chicken is really, really good.

7. I like the PH peperoni lovers and the LC 3-Meat Treat
I voted LC, though, because I think the $5/$5.55/$5.95 pizza is the best bargain in take out. I also like Costco's pepperoni pizza. Another pizza that is a helluva chain store bargain is Old Chicago's happy hour 2-topping personal pizza which is like $2.50.

Of course, in terms of "real" pizza, Lou Malnati's works for me.

8. All of those choices suck
I don't cook, but I would never go to any of those places for pizza.

How about Modern Pizza or Pepe's Pizza. Those are my choices.

9. Our homemade pizza is so effing good,
it's impossible to describe. But I'll try...

Start with cold-fermented dough, mostly white flour with a little whole wheat mixed in.

Top with homemade sauce, with added sun dried tomatoes, chili peppers, and fresh oregano, and

pepperoni, and

a little minced garlic, and

imported Parmesan-Reggiano, thinly sliced.

Cook on a pizza stone in a convection oven, 500°, for about 10 minutes.

Top with fresh basil.

13. Of that list, Papa John's
I'm generally pleased with their offerings.

I tend to prefer my local places, though: Uncle's for New York style, and Panhandler's for Chicago style. Both are a spur to luscious gluttony.

I usually have the carnivore pizza (pepperoni, shaved steak, chicken and bacon) plus black olives. It is spectacular. (I normally hate pizza.)

17. Lately, pepperoni, mushroom, peppers and onions on Chebe bread
prepared as pizza dough. Qualifies as semi-homemade, I guess. Celiacs can't much go out for pizza.

18. Of those choices, I'd rather make my own. But luckily I live within walking distance
of two amazing brick oven Neapolitan style pizza places, and several other good local choices within short driving distance. Plus there's always a bunch of Chicago style pizza around, but I prefer thin crust.

19. Why you should choose Little Caesar's Pizza
"The company was founded and owned by Mike and Marian Ilitch. They are truly committed to Michigan and the community. In addition to their Veterans Program, they established the non-profit foundation called the Love Kitchen to feed the hungry and homeless in the U.S. and Canada, feeding more than 1.5 million people in need since 1985. The mobile kitchen's planned use is focused on special programs and disaster relief efforts, and in October of 2001 traveled to New York City to feed rescue workers at the World Trade Center site."

In comparison to Domino's:

"Politicians spend millions of dollars on TV advertising, but imagine the money a candidate can save for other things if the company does it for you for free.

That’s the situation for Domino's Pizza CEO and possible Michigan Republican gubernatorial candidate David Brandon. The company began running prime time TV ads starring the former South Lyon native and former University of Michigan Regent. Brandon has been mentioned as a possible GOP candidate for governor along with a big cast of character, such as Attorney General Mike Cox, Secretary of State Terry Lynn Land, Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson and Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard.

However, Brandon doesn’t have the kind of statewide name recognition people like Cox, Land and Patterson have. These commercials will certainly change that. I wonder if you will give his opponents equal time.

The newest Brandon ad called "Pizza Big Taste Bailout” is rather offensive; given the rightwing causes Domino's has supported in the past and continues to push."

I know a disabled vet who benefited from their Veterans Program. It really changed his life.

Their pizza is pretty good too.

24. Yeah I wish we had one around here
I mean it's not as good as some local, non-chain pizza's, but it's as good as Domino's and you can eat it without feeling guilty for supporting the Republican party the way Domino's does.

22. of the chains you have listed plus dominos I'd pick pizza hut
grew up on it and it still tastes pretty good, I like their meat lovers and I freaking crave their thick, creamy, Italian salad dressing, even though I'm sure it is manufactured in some lab.

My homemade is pretty good although I haven't mastered the crust - don't have a stone and my oven sucks, but I have several types I make that are pretty good - spinach and feta; sausage, onion, and green pepper; fresh tomato and mozzarella with fresh basil; deluxe "combo" cleaning out the fridge and lots of cheese.

Good pizza in Tucson at Fioritos, Magpies, and my fave is Rocco's Little Chicago.

25. Home-made, only.
Thin crust (Boboli), brushed with EV olive oil, sprinkle of fresh basil, low-fat cheese, grilled chicken, and spinach.

Those chain pizzas are loaded with grease, especially Pizza Hut's.

and scattered throughout New York State.
You'll find a better pizza in one of those places than in any chain pizzeria.
