What are some of your interesting Facebook encounters?

Mine: an aunt I haven't seen in 25 years is a HUGE Fundie now, but she welcomed Haruka to the family and is very chatty with her, me, and some DU homosexuals who are our FB friends... plus, she thinks Adam was ROBBED.

1. I looked up someone I met at a conference a couple of weeks ago

and found we had a mutual FB friend! Bear in mind that, seeing as how I just joined FB less than a month ago, I only have four or five (two are the same person).

Of course, the mutual friend in question is in four figures...

5. I'm FB friends with some of my old teachers from grade school through college...

I recently got back in touch with my religion teacher from 7th and 8th grade (yes, I was a proper Catholic school girl back in the day) we actually met and had dinner and drinks about a month ago. It was fun catching up and we both found it amusing that neither one of us has set foot in a church in about 3 years...lol
