I was attacked by a dog today at a client's house.
They had no sooner opened the door for me when this humongous chocolate Lab sprang at me and instantly decided he'd been my best buddy for years, even though we'd never met before. Now, I know I'm good with animals, but I've never seen it happen so quickly before! The entire time I was in their house he never left my side. He kept nuzzling me and demanding I pet him and at one point I was almost beat to death with that wagging tail of his. And that tongue... I won't have to take a shower for a week, I'm so clean now!!!

It was hideous and frightening, I tell ya! Hideous and frightening.

And kinda cool...

2. Fierce is a good word.
It's also the perfect word to use to describe my new kitty while I tried to put a collar on her this morning. Talk about beauty and the beast on a rampage...

3. I can only imagine!

I'd be shredded to bits if I tried to put collars on mine. They have been inside cats since day one and show no interest in the great outdoors. They are 5 and 8 years old.

5. loved your story
Animals are wonderful.

I made friends with a couple pugs tonight. Pugs are my favorite dogs.

When I left, they barked and carried on. Their human told me they get upset when they make friends with a new human and then the human leaves.

So funny and so sweet.

6. The Lab was actually the third dog to vie for my graces today.
My girlfriend's teacup pup has claimed my lap as his own domain, and a client I saw earlier in the day has a pup I've actually dog-sat for in the past. The pup fell sound asleep on my lap whilst I slayed a virus on his master's computer.

I tell ya, I gots the touch! :headbang:

8. Funny how well dogs can read their owners vibes.
Had you knocked and then pushed your way in forcefully, I guarantee that's a different behaving dog.
