Poll question: A Poll about your Driving habits.
Do you usually have to wait on other cars to "Get Going" as in acceleration from a Red-Light..
...wait for somebody driving slow or slowly turning a corner..

Or...do other cars have to wait for you ..(as above).

No Judgment here...just curious and please be honest.

1. Drivers in my area

have a habit of running red lights. As many as three or five will run the light quite often. Even semi trucks. So when the light turns green, I wait a second or two to make sure everyone looks like they are going to obey the red light before I take off. I've had too many close calls to just take off when the light turns green. If the drivers behind me don't like it---tough. It only takes a couple of seconds anyway.

2. Oh..I don't blame you for that. Here in Florida "Red-Light Running" is a State Sport.
My (kinda') complaint here is it takes cars 3 blocks to get up to the Speed Limit of 35 mph.

3. I have to be careful that calves don't panic and start trying to out run me
they can run for 1/2 a mile or more and get separated from their mothers ... oh I don't belong to this thread about driving habits:P

4. No Problem but be careful (if you have a Virus) to also fdisk the Master-Boot-Record..
...before you Partition the Hard-Drive. :)

I'm not burning extra fuel, putting additional stress on the car or increasing the chances of an accident just because whoever is behind me doesn't "feel" like we're going fast enough.

10. i don't pay attention to that really but what does piss me off are people who slow
down to change lanes, way down and brake tappers, take your damn foot off the gas pedal or drop it into a lower gear to slow down.

11. I tend to be faster than average out of the light...
but that's because I tend to drive smaller cars rather than big unwieldy ones. :shrug:
