I don't enjoy most off the rack salsa so I wouldn't hold it against the French if they didn't either. ;)
I didn't eat at a Mexican or TexMex restaurant in France, but I did in Tokyo and it was a trip! To them it's exotic which made it hilarious for me. The food was ok (fresh and well prepared but not spicy enough) and ridiculously expensive. The "guacamole" was nothing more than a dollop of mashed up avocado. It was still better than any TexMex I had in Minneapolis though.
10. The USA LEADS the WORLD in potato chip technology.
They should be humbled to have a chance to consume the finest. Give 'em bacon horseradish dip and salsa, throw in some unsalted corn chips to be cosmopolitain.
