1. We ate at a Mexican restaurant in Versailles, and were served chips and salsa.
So they can; I don't know how many do.

4. I didn’t know if you were sincere or not.
It can be tough to tell here sometimes. I will say though, the salsa we did have there wasn’t very good.

5. I imagine it would depend on the salsa
I don't enjoy most off the rack salsa so I wouldn't hold it against the French if they didn't either. ;)

I didn't eat at a Mexican or TexMex restaurant in France, but I did in Tokyo and it was a trip! To them it's exotic which made it hilarious for me. The food was ok (fresh and well prepared but not spicy enough) and ridiculously expensive. The "guacamole" was nothing more than a dollop of mashed up avocado. It was still better than any TexMex I had in Minneapolis though.

10. The USA LEADS the WORLD in potato chip technology.
They should be humbled to have a chance to consume the finest.
Give 'em bacon horseradish dip and salsa, throw in some unsalted corn chips to be cosmopolitain.

Serve with Dr.Pepper.
