I CAN'T BELIEVE I SPILLED THE GOD DAMNED BEANS

I'm going to California on June 13, just in time for my youngest nephew's graduation party. He doesn't know I'll be there. Those aren't the beans I spilled.

He is flying back here to MD with me to spend a week with us. Mrs. V. did not know. It was a surprise for her. Those are the beans I spilled.

She got an email from a friend whose partner died last week, detailing the memorial service. She emailed me this morning saying she'd like to make the six-hour drive and attend the service. It's on the last two days of my nephew's visit.

I meant to forward the email to my sister to say "I have to tell her he's coming out here" - but I didn't "forward." Like an idiot, I hit "reply." And no, I didn't notice that I didn't actually put in my sister's email address. It was an automatic action - "reply." Jesus Christ.

I would've had to break the news anyway, but I'm pissed at the way I did it.

Moron.

Time to call the WAAAAAAAAH-mbulance for bertha. Whiner.

To have to reveal it at all was a bummer, but to do it by accident, when it comes as almost bad news because it nixes something she really wants to do . . . :(
