1. what is smoking wood?
we use real wood - mesquite, catclaw, or scrub oak.

22. Gas grill and a smoker.
Used to have something called a Big Green Egg that used charcoal, but we moved and it weighed over 100 lbs with its stand. Gave it to a neighbor at my old place, and haven't replaced it.
