I think the new band is going to cover this one and I think it's pretty badass. With horns doing harmony with the main line, and then solo's until the head repeats, I think it would translate well live. What do you think, teh loungez?

I think that with horns that would be great. I hope you can convince your band to play BB's party...that would be awesome music for it...:)

On the upside, this ensemble has been together for about 4 weeks and we have about 7, maybe 8 songs under our belt. This is the fastest working project I've ever been involved with. These kids are fast learners and great musicians.

On the downside, I still need a vocalist and a sax. When we add those to the mix, it means having to rework the songs we already have and then work out new material.

Can't really think about gigging until we have a singer. I have a craiglist listing up with some potential possibilities. Alot of dipshits responding, too. That's too be expected. I have a feeling finding a singer is going to be a painful process.

My first thought is that it would make a good theme song for a movie or TV show because it has a lot of energy and a very positive tone. It's one of those tunes that is genuinely fun to listen to.

Then again, I love reggae. :)

Big Mountain's cover of "Baby, I Love Your Way" is right up there with my alltime favorites. :)
