Damn, I didn't know I had total power over the Orioles

Orioles had the bases loaded with 0 outs in the bottom of the 5th. I turn to MASN to watch it and Adam Jones promptly hits into a double play and Melvin Mora strikes out. Ending the inning, no runs scored...

2. Reminds me of the Mariners

great winning season back in 2001...they only lost around 40 something games or so, and I always had the pleasure, of catching the games they lost...:cry:

There was one time, during that season, I thought they were going to win...they had like a 12 run lead over the Cleveland Indians, Lou pulled most of the starters in the 5th inning or so...the Tribe came back, and ended up winning....M's most prolific winning season, and just about every damn game I caught, they lost...

the White Sox destroyed the M's by a score of 23-3(approx)....

I stayed until the 7th inning, I was wearing all my Mariner/Seattle stuff, and I was a big target for jokes/teasin, but I endured. I think, it was the worst loss the M's ever recieved, and I paid 25 bucks to see it in person....this was in August of 2000 I believe....

I've seen two M's games, the one I mentioned above, and the Ms vs Whitesox again back in 92/93(my first big league game), at the good ole Kingdome. :) Got to see Bo break his bat, M's still lost that game though, it went into extra innings, M's lost by 2.

eta:to change 2001, to 2000. :)
