So many events have rocked our world over the past year, that I never got to express my feelings about the premature death of director Anthony Minghella.
He died at the age of around 54 or so from cancer, but he had made some incredible movies, and had produced some films that were released after his death.
He directed these masterpieces:
1. The English Patient 2. The Talented Mr. Ripley 3. Cold Mountain
He produced these very great films:
1. Michael Clayton 2. The Reaader
I wish I knew more about this man, but he made some incredible films, and the recent discussion over Natalie Portman triggered a recognition of this man's contribution to cinema, and I can only say I regret the fact that he will not be making more movies.
