Sevendust: One of the best bands in modern music.
Most of these new/nu metal acts are not that great. In many cases owning only one album of theirs is enough for me.

Not Sevendust. I have two of their albums. I would like to own all four. Their last album Seasons was great. Animosity was also great. I like the soundbytes from their first two albums. I don't know why I am going on about a band right now but this is some new shit I could really get into.

1. Isn't their lead singer black???
Also, a friend of mine met them offstage at X-Fest in Wisconsin in 1998. He said that the drummer back then had real emotional problems, and no one was supposed to talk to him.

2. The singer is black.
He is also really really good. Good in the vein of Living Colour.

3. That's good. We need more diversity in the rock scene.
It can't all be pre-1999 Lenny Kravitz.:)

4. The drummer.
From what I know their drummer is a joker. He played a joke on their bus driver. He was himself in front of him, but also assumed an alter ego of this prick of an A&R guy. Eventually he let the cat out of the bag, after the driver had been completely fooled.
