If I, and mama salin, were to travel to SF/Bay Area in the fall

and were looking to time it for some antiwar/peace sort of event... (so we can experience it with bigger support than in Indiana)... when should we aim for traveling? (In other words - any big events coming up inthe fall in the Bay Area?)

I am long overdue for a trip back to my old (temporary) home. Have a short business trip and thought about trying to swing an extra few days in the northern part of the state (but too short notice). Realized that traveling with my Mom is always a treat (don't know for how long we will have these opportunities) - and that when we do big Peace things in Indiana - it she is always an organizer (can't enjoy) and the crowd is small. So...... the idea hits today.... shoot for a trip in the fall - go play catch up (I used to live on the Penninsula) - and time it for some big event (if there is one scheduled in the fall).

Anyone know of anything that might fit the bill?

They keep a running list of what's going on all over the place. Maybe not complete, but it's one place to look.

it doesn't seem to have much beyond August scheduled. That is too soon. Didn't know if anyone had any idea - from ANY group at all of anything that might be cooking in the future.

If not - maybe we could make something happen. :D
