This proves it! I'm a junkie!

About 24 hours ago I got the Blaster virus. Every 2 minutes it knocked me off the internet. I had to go to Boston yesterday to visit my mother so I couldn't do anything about the virus until I got home. I have been depressed, obsessed and lonely. When I got back here I immediately called Will who also had been infected but had solved his problem thanks to help for a guy from Truthout. Next thing I know the fellow from Truthout calls me and helps me through the patch. I'm going to leave him something in my will!!! I can't believe how much I missed you guys! :-)

And glad you got it worked out! So far so good here (crosses fingers) but I had the patch so I guess that helped.

I thought I was immune from these nasty things and didn't bother with the patch. Never again! By the way, don't you think this virus stuff would make a good Stephen King miniseries? A nasty little monster lurking in your computer...sort of looks like a Tasmanian Devil... polks its head out of the screen now and then and takes a bite out of your face...draws blood...changes your personality...:eyes:

and so many did...glad you have it all under control now thanks to your friend from truthout.

When I got my computer redone and upgraded, a friend from KSC put in the free edition of AVG and I have had no problems, it screens and tests for those virus all the time and let's you know.
