Ugh, got a spam in my mail today from Liberty University.

Just when I thought my opinion of Fartwell couldn't get any lower...

Some guy just got something like 2 years house arrest for that kind of shit.

No. Report it to his ISP...and their provider and up the line until you get someone with an AUP that says he can't do it.

On the other hand most if not all of the do not call and spam rules don't apply to religeous org's.

Reminds me of when I worked the support desk of a tiny ISP. We started getting angry e-mail and calls about some minister who hired some company to PSAM for him. What a great day! I got to threaten a preist and a SPAMmer in one phone call. The minister guy I think felt pretty bad about it and the SPAMmer dude was unrepentant even though I was threatening to cancel the minsters account AND keep his pre-paid year.

Never reply to SPAM. NEVER! Report it to your ISP. If you know how report it to their ISP, evn better. If you know how, even better, report it to the SPAMmers ISP's provider.
