Help with History Presentation
I am covering the Carter years for a final presention for hist class. In my never ending pursuit of righting the right and preaching politic....while trying not to appear to do so....

I need some information. I have seen people give analysis of why Carter acually helped bring down the soviet union with his policies on the afghanistan situation.
I need four or five points for a power point slide. Can anyone help?

Chez

1. Carter under avice from his NS Advisor Zbig. Brezhinski (sp.?)
-I can never spell his name...

Began arming the Afghan Mujahedeen first with Soviet PAC weapons and later with American made weapons. This policy was continued under Reagan.

Afghanistan became the SU's Vietnam and led directly to the fall of the Soviet Union as we knew it.
