13. Yes, she and Hume Cronyn
lifelong liberals and soulmates, and GREAT actors, dies within a few months of each other several years ago, as did Lloyd Bridges and his wife. I predict that Ossie and Ruby will die close together, as will Paul & Joanne.

More than once I sat in on last minute casting meetings...and it never failed that someone would be mentioned as a possibility and it would turn out they were dead. Or we thought they were dead. Or they were nearly dead.

Edited on Tue Mar-23-04 09:31 AM by hyphenate
about Eddie Albert myself. He's in his 90s as well.

I think Ray Walston died last year, didn't he? He was in either his late 80s or early 90s.

Edited to add: Walston was 86 when he died. Albert is still going strong at 95.

40. All of the above...
...in the poll, and most of the replies. Seriously. I remember most of these people as elderly (except Jan Michael Vincent) 30 years ago, so they are either dead or about 100 years old, or it seems that way. Was Estelle Getty mentioned? Bea Arthur, of Golden Girls?
