Here's why...

DUs # on the main page is total registrations since Jan. 2001. AFAIK, they do not reduce that number for bannings or multiple accounts. So the actual number of DUers is significantly less, since that number includes freeper disruptors who show up and get banned.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

7. Last I looked about 6000 are double or dead registrations.
