Is it against the rules to place a curse on a fellow DU'er

in the middle of a thread or to wish ill upon them and their family?

Just curious.

And if it did, you should alert the mods.

Something about hoping their kids would defeat mine or some such tripe. Then again I am fully capable of defending myself and mine. Plus I don't like running to the Mods for stuff. Was just curious, and thought it's make a short conversation for the late night crowd. :)

...your "curse" might come true on my end. My boss feels obligated to buy cookies, but dosen't eat them. I come in once or twice a month and find boxes of cookies on my desk. I think part of it is she is trying to bribe me so I don't boobytrap her office. Sometimes being sociopathic has it's benefits. :)

There are no enemys here. The enemy is the bugbear inside your own
mind that would "curse" somebody. What is that violence, and are
you wielding it justly? If it were a gun, and we all in a room,
you discuss, sharon'ian preemptive execution.

The will to curse, is so seldomly needed in life, if ever, in life.
Why not invest that intelligence and willpower in to a career,
a university class, or a hike in the mountains. It takes more
power not to curse, and it develops your will.

If you are cursed by someone, be very still. Surrender to truth and
the curse cannot hurt you. The buddha of truth, protects all who
take refuge. This buddha would bounce back the curse 1000 fold on
the one who applys it, plunging their state of mind in to dark
murky, stupid states of mind, of inflated egotism, emotional
indulgence and slovenlyness.

There are guardians in the universe beyond petty sorcerers and
wizards, who, like jedi knights, grant refuge to all who surrender
to truth. The people on DU come to surrender and learn truth.
They are protected by all the buddha's of the mahayana order.
Beware those who might use curses on such sacred ground.
