I just read on the local Dems mailing list that you're invading our fair city on August 23rd.

I'M OUT OF TOWN THAT DAY!

How can I go on, knowing that you're gracing my birthplace with your presence, and I am stuck 250 miles away in the beautiful Rose City of Portland, OR for the entire weekend? I was even going to buy you one of those expensive drinks you're so enamored of!

Laugh at my pain :evilgrin:

I was also kinda' hoping to get his new book autographed for both DH's grandma (charter subscriber to "Mother Jones" and 80-year-old hellraiser,) and my friend Gaby's dad. Gaby's dad is another flaming liberal, had heart surgery a week ago, and is raisin' hell at an undisclosed location, aka one of the downtown Seattle hospitals...
