I just shelled out over 4K for a new Dell Notebook with a few accessories and I can't get a straight answer from anybody.
Hardware, software or perhipials...it seems that their entire Tech Support is located overseas and their US sales force isn't exactly up on the ancillary equipment they sell.
Until things improve, this my last Dell and my last computer purchase unless I find Customer Support based in the US/UK where my questions can be answered in a "timely" manner.
those Dell intern commercials are a big lie then. They should bring back the guy who got busted buying pot--what was his name again? ah, 15 minutes of fame and your forgotten.
with Dell's tech support. interesting to know they've gone downhill.
and the fact that it's located outside of the country? who cares? A Dell is a Dell, whether in Dallas or Bangalore, as long as the person can help you fix it.
Less than 6 months ago.....the tech person even called back to make sure everything was working properly. Maybe you just had bad luck, or maybe things have changed.
