About sex being good for you.
I see studies from time to time that say having sex "blank #" times a week helps this or that.
My question is;
Does that mean intercourse, or does oral sex and masturbation work as well for these healthy side effects?
Would say, lesbians with an active sex life benefit as much as a hetero couple?
Strangely, I never see this addressed in the main stream media.

1. I have heard that for men
The act of climaxing relieves pressure from the prostate and can help lower a mans risk of colon cancer.
I think sex contributes to well being and relieving stress.

2. Sex should incorporate some exercise.
If it does, it increases your heart rate. One becomes all flushed. Sex is good cardio. I would say, sex which does not incorporate any exercise (for you, while perhaps the one who's servicing you is exercising a bit!) is likely not as healthy. Mind you, there are endorphins released during sex, and the occasional release of these endorphins is healthy. Orgasm, to put it simply, does a body good, but healthy sex should involve some exercise.

A little more exercise than just a workout for the lower right arm, anyway.

As to whether lesbian sex can be as healthy as heterosexual sex, I don't see why not. I don't mind thinking about it, though! :D

I should mention before I depart that my title is an entirely self-imposed honorific. Dr. Morbius is a character from an old science fiction movie; I am not a real doctor but I play one on the internet.

3. An ex-boyfriend (who's still a friend),
constantly tells me that sex (with him, of course) is good for: my depression, my toothache, my headache, even my anger towards repukes. I don't know...I think he could be shining me on...:P

4. Sax is good for you

6. i'd imagine that a lot of the supposed benefits
have less to do w/ sex than with the fact that the average person who is having a lot of sex is probably in decent physical/mental shape - people want to fuck them, after all.
