The Stand on Syfy ...as a modern day Passion Play

I think it plays very well. I challenge any one to watch it thru without tears running.

1. Does any one else have an opinion about the movie

adaptation from the book, the book is better but the movie does it justice. I just really admire how many respected actors took it seriously and made it a worthwhile movie overall.

2. Also my cat Shady killed a baby bunny and ceremoniously

3. I haven't read the book.

Saw the miniseries and liked it somewhat.

I read a review of the miniseries/book, and the reviewer suggested reading Tim Powers' novel Last Call. Which I did--and liked a lot.
